BibliU Innovative Access Programs
BibliU Universal Learning supports two innovative access programs: Equitable Access and Inclusive Access.
Both programs under the Universal Learning model include access to digital content on day one, through the institution’s learning management system (LMS), and are billed as part of student tuition fees. If students prefer to self-source their course materials, they are able to opt-out of either access program prior to census date. Working closely with the institution, the BibliU team will assist in determining the program that best fits the needs of the administration, faculty, and students.

Equitable Access
BibliU’s Equitable Access program ensures that all students have access to digital course materials from the first day of class, with a flat fee per student, per text, resulting in savings of 30% to 50%. Under this program, institutions only incur charges for the course sections utilizing content. Notably, no content usage translates to no charge, a significant difference from the traditional credit hour model. The implementation of BibliU’s Equitable Access is scalable at an institution-wide level, covering all students regardless of their financial situation. This standardized approach levels the playing field for those enrolled, driving equity of access in higher education.
Inclusive Access
BibliU’s Inclusive Access program includes itemized pricing that can be seamlessly added to students’ bills and paid for using financial aid. Students in participating courses are granted access to materials on day one of class. Working with thousands of publishers through a content agnostic approach, BibliU can procure the content the institution needs. Inclusive Access gives faculty the freedom to adopt the content they want to teach; this means that more students will get access to the books that they need on day one, improving student outcomes.
