BibliU and Alamance Community College Partner to Expand Affordable Access and Modernize the Campus Store

Graham, NC – BibliU is excited to welcome Alamance Community College (ACC) to its growing network of North Carolina institutions. Launching May 1, 2025, the partnership will modernize ACC’s campus store operations and deliver affordable, first-day access to learning materials through BibliU’s Universal Learning+ solution, enhancing the overall learning experience.

BibliU Equitable Access (EA) ensures every student receives low-cost access to required textbooks and course content on Day 1 for a flat fee each semester. Through a seamless, innovative platform integrated directly into the Learning Management System (LMS), BibliU eliminates common access barriers—such as high costs, out-of-stock books, and waiting in line—by delivering materials digitally, anytime, anywhere.

In addition to digital content delivery, BibliU will support the transformation of ACC’s campus store by refreshing the physical space and enhancing the online storefront. Students will have convenient access to ACC-branded merchandise, course kits, supplies, electronics, and more—creating an engaging and comprehensive retail experience on and off campus.

“We’re excited to partner with Alamance Community College to help ensure that students have affordable, equitable access to the learning materials they need to succeed,” said Dave Sherwood, CEO of BibliU. “By partnering with ACC, we can demonstrate how our Universal Learning+ solution can drive greater affordability and help institutions meet their goals of student success.”

“This transition to BibliU is an exciting step forward for Alamance Community College as we continue to prioritize affordability, accessibility, and student success,” said Dr. Ken Ingle, ACC President. “By streamlining the textbook purchasing process and ensuring students have the resources they need from day one, we are making education more accessible and reducing barriers to learning. This move aligns with our commitment to innovation and equity in education.”

This partnership goes beyond transforming the campus store; it’s about making course materials more affordable and accessible for students, aligning with the missions of both BibliU and ACC. By leveraging BibliU’s technology, ACC can modernize how its educational content is delivered, reduce costs, and ultimately improve student outcomes. Together, BibliU and ACC are setting a new standard for enhancing access to learning resources while tackling affordability issues.
