Affording textbooks can be a heavy burden for students. See what our co-founder and CEO, Dave Sherwood, had to say and how BibliU is helping students on Fox News!
Edtech platform BibliU was recently featured on Fox News' America Reports for National Education Week in a segmented on affordability in higher edcation. A startling 11% of students reported skipping meals just to afford their textbooks for class.
"[Higher education institutions] are doing all sorts of things like freezing their fees, increasing scholarships," said co-founder and CEO Dave Sherwood, "but it's a very nice addition to say we're saving [students] fifty percent on their textbook materials, and it's included in your student account."
With affordability becoming more and more of a pressing issue in higher education, platforms like BibliU aim to provide accessible and affordable options for students so they no longer have to worry about the costs of course materials.
ASPIRE has just ranked BibliU in joint-first position in its audit of the accessibility statements of more than 50 digital content management platforms.
To thank our team for their outstanding contributions and to encourage them to take time to rest, prioritize their well-being, and do what makes them happy, we want to give time back.
